Jeff Spec – I’ve Been Trying

“I’ve Been Trying” (Download Track HERE)is the first single from my upcoming record “Specnology”,  Jeff Spec will l be releasing mid-late September.  The track, produced by Impossible Nothing, is just a reflection on the everyday details of life and some of the things he’s been going through since the Sneakerboxxx record. This song is one that most people will be able to relate to, and that jeff isn’t holding too much back on this one.  The video is one shot and one take, shot by Jenkin Au from Justalilhype.com, and is meant to reflect the overall vulnerability of the song.

Take Off is the 2nd single from Chicago’s F.A. The Squad’s Mixtape “The Pilot.” Directed by Damon L. Thomas, produced by JRunit and shot in Atlanta this song represent the lifestyle F.A. knows they are destined to one day have. The Boy Illinois, TreStyle, & Young Rel have put together a great follow up to their 1st video Back Down, and are still own their way to hip-hop stardom…….”We Got a Place Everywhere that Go”

N.VS x CALVIN VALENTINE – TROPHY CASES

Producer Calvin Valentine (produced for Planet Asia, Phil The Agony,
Frank Nitty, Illmaculate, Moka Only, + more) teams up with rapper N.VS
to release the ‘TROPHY CASES’ EP.  Having made music together for 10
years this is their first official collaborative effort.  N.VS
(residing Chicago) and Calvin Valentine (residing Portland, OR) are
both part of a seven member Chicago x Portland based group:
FANGTSHIDA. The record from the duo features radio programming from
the late 70′s durring The Portland Trailblazers Champion season over
heavy synth oriented production. Released for FREE in early 2011 N.VS
and Calvin Valentine have already disclosed plans of working on a
sophomore album later this year.
